- September sounds reasonable. I could well be in the queue for one or two of
- these beasties myself. The price has to be right though.

- At LAST! This sounds decent. Internal expansion capabilities, the parallel and
- serial is *very* nice (I could definately use the second parallel port for my
- digitiser), HD floppies, and something sounding like the Acorn RISC-PC slice
- addition system. That`s OK, I suppose. I`m assuming the base model wll have
- room for the basic 2 IDE devices (say, a HD and a cheap internal 4x IDE CD-ROM)
- with extra "slices" for later such as Zorro cards, and a slice for 6
- internal/exposed SCSI devices (say, 3 hidden drive bays plus 3 5.25" exposed
- drive bays for tape streamers, SCSI-CD-ROM, Internal Zip/Jaz/EZ).
-
- Any word on being able to force 30kHz output only (as with the A3000?) I could
- do with being able to use an SVGA monitor rather than be stuck with the
- relatively poor Microvitec efforts if only to be able to access higher bandwith
- than 38kHz for use with the Cybervision64 card.

- Sounds good.

- Well, the spec sounds nice, and this is a machine that I`d be willing to spend
- 600 UK pounds on given that it came with 6Mb, HD floppy, a large HD (1Gb at
- least) and maybe a CD drive as well. I`d only expect to add a couple hundred
- quid for a decent quality SVGA monitor after that. Given that it`s expected in
- September, something within the range 500-700UK pounds would be reasonable,
- IMHO, given a spec like I`ve suggested above.
